Buying a refurbished television is a very tempting proposition. Who doesn't love to save money on their latest LCD or LED TV and it will be much cheaper than purchasing brand new? But then again, it can also be quite a risky deal. Refurbished products are no longer brand new but still carry the same high-quality features as those in new TVs but may have been used before. When a refurbished tv is advertised as being in a "b grade" area, this simply means that the item has been slightly used and possibly repaired. A grade five item should never have been repaired or used at all and instead should be in an "A" class condition. The difference between refurbished tvs and A grade is slight and undetectable but you should be able to tell the difference when viewing the two.
